Tuck the Book Truck Bringing the Library to You The bookmobile is a mobile branch library with the mission of bringing library services to our customers. Tuck operates on a monthly schedule making public stops, visiting Approximately 3,600 items are housed on the bookmobile and available for loan. The collection which consists of books and audio materials has a one (1) month loan period. Special requests can be honored and borrowed from the Main Library, usually by the following bookmobile visit. With the use of cellular broadband, the bookmobile now brings wireless internet to its public stops. Customers can check email, do research, access electronic databases and visit our online catalog. All residents of Hopkins County are welcome to use our services, but to check out books a library card is required. Cards can be issued on the bookmobile and are welcome at all libraries in the Hopkins County-Madisonville Public Library System. If you already have a library card issued from the Dawson Springs Branch or the Main Library, an additional card is not necessary for use on the bookmobile.
